And there's honestly much time i've used that's been, thrown to the side and wasted
And I haven't a single thought of mine lasting, long enough to mention
Assumably you're distracted and we'll lose the connection

The current's strong, holding me back, keeping me from gaining lead way
I'll dive right in, I'll take the plunge, I'll do whatever it takes
All insights blurred, I've never heard before, how difficult it'd be
Now discouraged my feet are slipping and I'm losing motivation

There's only one thing you can do, when you feel it pushing back at you
There's only one thing you can say, when it doesn't matter anyway.

I'm sure there's a very good reason how you figured things out,
I'm still in a transition with a head that's filled with doubt.
This too will pass and a signal flows again
but for now I don't understand
